WOLFPACK WOMEN’S SOCCER/CROSS COUNTRY IN THE LATEST CCAA RANKINGS

Two Thompson Rivers University WolfPack athletic teams are in the most recent Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association national rankings.

Tom McManus’ women’s soccer team has cracked the CCAA top 15 for the first time this season. Following wins over nationally ranked Langara and Quest this past weekend, the WolfPack find themselves sitting in 13 th place nationally going into the final PAC WEST regular season weekend.

NAIT Ooks (ACAC), Humber Hawks (OCAA) and Fx Garneau Elans  (RSEQ) remain the top three teams in the nation in CCAA women’s soccer.   UBCO Heat have moved up from eighth spot to fourth place.  Langara has fallen from fourth place to stand sixth. Quest has dropped from 11 th place last week to 14 th this week.

The WolfPack cross country team, under the direction of Jack Miller and Duaine Seibel remain 11 th in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association rankings.   UBCO is the top rated PAC WEST school. They are 10th.   MacEwen Griffins (ACAC),  Humber Hawks (OCAA) and the Red Deer Queens (ACAC) remain the top three schools in cross country running.

The 2011 CCAA Cross Country championships will be held November 12 th at McArthur Island in Kamloops.
