TAP INS: The finish of the UBCO golf teams over the TRU squads gave the Heat two points in the first annual “President’s Cup” competition. This is a showdown between the University of British Columbia and Thompson Rivers University. A point is given for each victory in PACWEST and Canada West competition between the two schools.
The WolfPack got the upper hand with two soccer victories over the Heat on Saturday. But the loss by the golf teams, coupled with the WolfPack men’s soccer defeat on Sunday gives UBCO a 3-2 lead. The next competition will be Canada West volleyball when the two schools play each other October 25 th and 26 th.
