WolfPack Lose Second Game of CCBC Playoffs Against PBA

The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Baseball team have fallen to 1-1 in the CCBC playoffs after they lost to the Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs on Thursday. The final score was 11-3. PBA is now 3-0 in the playoffs.

Sophomore Zach Chaba (Vancouver, BC) started on the mound of the ‘Pack. He threw three innings, allowing nine runs (five earned) on eight hits and three walks. He struck out three batters. Aaron Lemoine (Winnipeg, MB) came into the game and had his best appearance of the season. He tossed five innings, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out one.

The ‘Pack’s offense was quiet against PBA as they only generated three hits. Blayne Halland (Kamloops, BC) stayed hot as he went 2-5 with a run scored. Adam Filmon (Winnipeg, MB) went 1-4 with a RBI. Josh Hiliis (Calgary, AB) scored twice.

The tournament continues tomorrow for the ‘Pack as they take on the University of Calgary Dinos. First pitch is at 12:30 at Elks Stadium in Kelowna.
