TRU head coach Chad Grimm

On match: “We started off pretty slow. We couldn’t find our rhythm . We made some changes. I thought the people we brought in did a good job to bring energy and the will to fight and grind it out. It wasn’t the prettiest volleyball on either side of the net. I thought we brought the fight to them and did the best we could. The group on the court showed a lot of resilience. That is the way we need to play for us to be successful. I think, as a group, bring that intensity to every match in the New Year we should be successful.”

The Pandas and WolfPack now break for Christmas exams.

Next home match for Thompson Rivers will be Friday, January 19, 2018 when they entertain the University of Saskatchewan Huskies on the Warner Rentals Court at the Tournament Capital Centre. Game time will be 6 pm.

TRU returns to regular season play with two weekends of play on the road. They visit Mount Royal (Jan 5-6) and then Regina (Jan 12-13).
