WolfPack men’s basketball enter Christmas break with victory

The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men’s basketball team has gone .500 in its pre-Christmas exhibition tour.

The WolfPack beat the Southwest Assemblies of God Lions (NAIA) 101-90 Tuesday night (Dec 19) in Phoenix. That squared the TRU record at 1-1 in their two game series.

TRU led 49-44 at the half and were led offensively by Michael Rouault (3rd year, guard, Vernon,BC). He had 23 points.

The WolfPack take a break and return to regular season play in the Canada West on Friday, January 5,2018 in Victoria, BC when they visit the UVIC Vikes.

Their next home game isn’t until Friday January 12th when they entertain the University of Fraser Valley Cascades on the Warner Rentals court. Tip off at the Tournament Capital Centre will be 8 pm.
