Moses Lake, WA – The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack baseball team didn’t get the start to the weekend they wanted as they fell 3-1 to Edmonds Community College. Pitching was solid for the ‘Pack but the offense was quiet as they only had three hits all game.

Liam Rihela (White Rock, BC) drove in the team’s only run with a RBI single in the fifth inning. He also had two walks and a stolen base. Connor McKenzie (Kamloops, BC) finished 1-2 with a walk and scored the teams’ only run. Zac Comeault (Pitt Meadows, BC) had the third hit and also walked once.

Tyler Hodder (Fort McMurray, AB) made his first start in three weeks on the mound. He tossed 5.1 innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits, one walk and one hit batter. He struck out four. Moses Lake native Josh Snider threw 2.2 innings, not allowing a run and striking out five.

The team will be back in action tomorrow as they play a doubleheader. They will play Big Bend Community College at 12pm and Edmonds Community College at 3pm.
