THEY SAID IT! (post match quotes):
TRU head coach John Antulov:
“Definitely a tough loss. It was a game that went both ways. It was a good battle as it always is when we play Trinity Western. We know it is going to go down to the last minute and it did again today. We had a 2-1 lead and let it slip. We had a couple of breakdowns on set pieces that cost us. It is something we have to regroup for tomorrow. Our backs are definitely against the wall but we have to fight through. We have to do our best and work hard for a result tomorrow. We can’t have our heads down right now. We went through a lot of positives last year. This season we are having a tough time getting results. I still believe we have a team which can fight through this.
The WolfPack will continue their visit to the Fraser Valley as they move east to Abbotsford, BC to tangle with the host University of Fraser Valley Cascades. That match is set for tomorrow (Sat Sept29). Kick off is 6:30 pm.
Thompson Rivers then returns home to meet up with the University of Northern British Columbia Timberwolves for a weekend series (Oct 6-7). Kick off both days at Hillside Stadium will be 1 pm
All of the WolfPack matches—home and away—will be webcast on a pay per view basis on www.Canadawest.TV.
