WolfPack Basketball set for final exhibition games

The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack basketball teams open up their final series of exhibition games on Thursday (Oct18).
The WolfPack men and women will be hosting their counterparts from the University of Northern British Columbia on Thursday.
The WolfPack and Timberwolves will meet at 4 pm in women’s play. The TRU and UNBC men will battle it out at 6 pm. Both games are on the Warner Rentals court at the Tournament Capital Centre.

This weekend, both Thompson Rivers teams are on the road.

Scott Reeves takes his WolfPack women into Edmonton to play the University of Alberta and the University of Lethbridge. Thompson Rivers meets the Alberta Pandas on Saturday (Oct 20) and the Lethbridge Pronghorns on Sunday (Oct 21).

The TRU men have one exhibition game left after facing UNBC. That is Saturday, October 20th in Kelowna as they meet up with Ken Olynyk and the UBCO Heat.

Thompson Rivers begins its 2018-19 Canada West regular season on Friday, October 26th in Abbotsford, BC against the University of Fraser Valley Cascades. Their home opener isn’t until Friday November 9th when the UVIC Vikes come to the Warner Rentals Court. The women tip off at 5 pm with the men going at 7 pm.
