THEY SAID IT (post game quotes):
TRU head coach Scott Reeves:
On the Contest:
“Our shooting woes seem to have continued. The first quarter wasn’t too bad. We shot 44 per cent. They shot 63 percent. We went ice cold in the second quarter: 0 for 17 from the three point line for the game will certainly put us in a deficit. I was proud of the way we fought back in the second half. We won the fourth quarter 16-5 but by that time the game was out of reach. That was unfortunate. We worked really hard. We need to come back tomorrow and work hard and come away with a victory which is hard on the road.”
The WolfPack and Cascades will close out the weekend series tomorrow (Sat Oct 27) at the Envision Financial Athletics Center. Tip off will be 5 pm. The WolfPack will then have a bye before their home opener on Friday, November 9th at the Tournament Capital Centre. The opposition will be the University of Victoria Vikes. Tip off will be 5 pm on the Warner Rentals court.
All the above games will be shown on a pay-per-view basis on Canada West TV.
