Women's soccer player Camryn Curts and Georgia Aldus help at 2018 Toys4Kids (Larry Read photo)
Athletes from WolfPack men’s and women’s volleyball and soccer along with women’s basketball took time away from studying for finals to help the 2018 Toys4Kids event on Wednesday, December 5th. The 21st edition of this event was in danger of not happening after the regular venue (Hotel 540) is under renovation. Kamloops McDonalds stepped up to provide their locations as a drop off for toys for Christmas Amalgmated and donations for the RIH Foundation. With so many locations, more volunteers were needed. Usually TRU men’s soccer and women’s volleyball help out. This year the other squads pitched in. Here are photos from this year’s event. Thanks to Lauren Walkley and Michelle Bos of women’s basketball, Josh Mullaney and Ryan Adams of men’s volleyball, Camryn Curts, Georgia Aldus and Danielle Robertson of women’s soccer, Hayley McNaught and Lizzy Reimer of women’s volleyball and men’s soccer players: Colton Storzuk, Jan Pirrates Glasmacher, Joshua Banton, Thomas Lantmeeters, Zahk Barone and head coach John Antulov for volunteering.
