Another strong day for Thompson Rivers University WolfPack swimmer Ryley McRae at the 2019 U.S. Grand Prix meet at Knoxville, Tennessee.
In Day four, McRae finished 12 th in the 1500 free style with a time of 16:34.06. This was one of McRae’s best ‘in season’ times. He beat his best time by five seconds.
“Overall this competition was extremely valuable learning opportunity for him this weekend,” stated WolfPack head coach Brad Dalke. “Ryley can now prepare himself for the U SPORTS championships.”
McRae’s performance earlier in this event earned him a spot in the Canadian Olympic swim trials which will be held in Toronto, Ontario in April 2020.
